King's College is situated in an ideal location in Golf Avenue, Otahuhu, just 10 minutes from Auckland International Airport, and fifteen minutes from downtown Auckland City.
From Auckland Airport From
Auckland International Airport, travel along Tom Pearce Drive, and
follow it through onto Puhinui Road (A natural progression). Puhinui
Road will take you past Manukau Memorial Gardens on your left to a
motorway on ramp. Take this on ramp and travel northbound until you
reach the first turnoff, Massey Road interchange. Take the turnoff, and
turn right onto Massey Road. Follow Massey Road north for approximately
2 km until you reach a railway overbridge. Continue over the bridge and
look to your right, you will see the King's College Campus. Once past
the bridge, take the next right turn into Middlemore Road and follow to
the end, turn right into King's College gates.
From Auckland City Centre (North) Travel
southbound on the southern motorway for approximately 10km's, and take
the Princes St, Otahuhu exit. Once off the motorway, follow the
signposts to Middlemore Hospital and this will lead you to the top of
Golf Avenue after passing Otahuhu College on Mangere Road. Turn left
into Golf Avenue and you will see the entrance to the College at the
bottom of the road. If you miss the left turn into Golf Avenue, take
the next left into Middlemore Road. Both will lead you to the King's
College entrance.
From State Highway 1 (South) Travelling
northbound, take the Water Street, Otahuhu exit. Once off the motorway,
follow the signposts to Middlemore Hospital and this will lead you to
the top of Golf Avenue after passing Otahuhu College on Mangere Road.
Turn left into Golf Avenue and you will see the entrance to the College
at the bottom of the road. If you miss the left turn into Golf
Avenue, take the next left into Middlemore Road. Both will lead you to
the King's College entrance.
Taxis Most
taxi companies and drivers know where the College is located. Prices
vary according to company. We are negotiating with a taxi company and
details will be available for local transfers closer to the time.
Trains For
visitors wishing to travel from Britomart Transport Centre to King's
College, you can take either the Southern (via Newmarket) or Eastern
(via Glen Innes) Line train service. Currently, there are trains
departing Britomart between 5:40am and 8:30pm. The cost for this
journey is $4.80 one way per adult (4 stages), or a more cost-effective
4-stage ten trip pass is also available for $43. These tickets are
available at Britomart and onboard the train. When travelling
southbound from Britomart - get off at Middlemore (you
will see the King's College grounds from the train). When
returning northbound to Britomart get on at the
